Toni takes on the Oceans 7 Challenge

TONI’S JOURNEY I began open water swimming in 2009. The freedom, connection with nature and pure challenge associated with it had me right from the start – I was hooked.

It has become the catalyst for the rest of the challenges I face, the drive I developed for swimming seeped into all the other areas of my life – career, family and personal goals. The way in which I began to face these aspects was the way in which I had learned to face my swimming challenges –

with passion, unwavering determination and maximum positivity. Open water swimming has taught me that it does not matter how old or young or you are, nothing is impossible and whatever you put your mind to, you can achieve – if you want it badly enough!

Ice Swimming

In the biting cold of Switzerland’s lakes, from Unterägeri to the high alpine valleys, Toni Enderli trains wherever he finds icy waters. The extreme athlete, known for testing the limits of body and mind, has immersed himself in the world of IISA ice swimming—where water hovers near freezing, and each swim is a raw confrontation with nature and self.

But Toni isn’t just swimming for personal glory. He’s building something colder, deeper, and more meaningful in his local community. From early-morning dips to full-fledged training sessions, he’s brought a growing circle of swimmers into the ice, showing them that courage isn’t about comfort—it’s about showing up when everything tells you to stay on land.

That same drive took him to Molveno, Italy, where he competed in the IISA World Championships—a gathering of the world’s toughest ice swimmers. Shoulder to shoulder with athletes from across the globe, Toni flew the Swiss flag with pride.

This isn’t just about sport. It’s about spirit. And Toni Enderli is proving that even in freezing water, there’s a fire worth following.
